This free trilingual tourist application (French, German and English) is offered by the tourist offices of Moudon and Echallens Régions. It contains about twenty hikes, including ten around Moudon and ten around Echallens, in Gros-de-Vaud. It also lists many "nature", "heritage" and "culture" points of interest to learn more about this picturesque region.

Let yourself be guided through the many trails in the heart of the Vaud countryside dotting the regions of Moudon and Echallens. Thanks to its geolocation system, you know where you are at all times and can be guided along the trails and other routes through these charming, predominantly bucolic and rural regions.

EXPERIENCE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WALKS IN THE VAUDOISE CAMPAIGN

Use these hiking trails to discover the richness and diversity of the region's landscapes through fields, forests or along the various rivers: around Moudon, walking through forests such as the Péquinsin natural forest reserve, along rivers like the Carrouge or the Bressonne, or by losing yourself through the many typical villages of the Jorat plateau in the Broye valley, or by visiting the Moudonnois museums of Eugène Burnand and Vieux-Moudon or the 'St-Etienne church. You will also have views of the Alps and the Prealps to take your breath away and the impressive molasse cliffs characteristic of the region. Around Echallens, in Gros-de-Vaud, you will pass through magnificent villages to discover churches and local producers. Various activities also await you, such as Gecko Escalade and the Cadratin in Sottens, the Bois des Brigands in Thierrens or the Swiss Museum of Wheat and Bread in Echallens.
